Janis Lago gets political. On our 7th release, Lago explores the relationship between their frustrations with an outside governmental force and their self-inflicted ruling as a burnt out artist trying to work under the capitalist system. Artists are not machines, and through this album, Janis explores the idea of the self-anarchism of the arts as a way of coping with feelings of desperation.


Notice the typo? because at first, we didn't!
Janis Lago has retconned it as "an artistic rebellion against spelling conventions, because that's how "government" is pronounced in most spoken language". What was at first a mistake, has come to further deepen the concept of the album, taking its unruly nature to practice.
